It is purple in color, but the zip-in (removable) fleece is a dark/navy blue. It has a hide-a-way hood and zips and snaps in the front. This coat has lots of front pockets and because it is a 3in1 jacket (meaning you can wear the fleece with the ski jacket part, or the ski jacket without the fleece, or just the zip up fleece alone) it is great to wear year around!
